Kari & Mandy Lines (Owners)

Kari & Mandy Lines graduated from the University of Alberta with Engineering Degrees. After University they worked in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries. However they always shared the same dream of someday owning their own business. A close friend of Mandy’s (and fellow Engineer) came over for a visit one day, and said she had quit her job she was going to sell blinds for a living!! After the initial surprise wore off, it wasn’t long before Lori Sitko (owner/operator of Budget Blinds of Sherwood Park, Alberta) had Kari & Mandy on the phone with the Budget Blinds franchise headquarters. They knew it was an opportunity they could not pass up! The business brought the couple to Regina, where they ran an award winning location there for nearly 3 years. However, as time passed on, they started to miss their family and friends back home. In early 2010, they received a life changing phone call, and by September of 2010, they were the proud owners of Budget Blinds of Airdrie, Chestermere, and Area! Kari & Mandy continue to consistently rank in the fop five among all Canadian franchises, and they could not be happier running a business that they love while being able to live closer to their families. They reside in Airdrie, Alberta, and they now have 2 beautiful daughters, Keira and Jaya (and another one on the way!) who are also very happy to be near their Grandmas, Grandpas, Uncles, and Aunts!
