Hunter Douglas Vignettes in East Amherst Dining Room
The window treatment for this lovely formal dining room in East Amherst is a Hunter Douglas Vignette. It is also described as a modern Roman Shade that is tiered and has a light rise or cordless lift system. The shade provides an elegant solution to preserve the beauty of the window and at the same time protect the furnishings against the harmful rays of the sun.
Cafe Style Wood Shutters in North Buffalo Home
These white teak Cafe Style Shutters from Norman Window Fashions were recently installed in the sun room of an historic Buffalo home. They have an invisible tilt function eliminating the need for tilt bars, providing an unobstructed view when in the open position, The shutters provided the perfect balance of both privacy and light in this warm and inviting room.
Custom Draperies with Coordinating Cornice
We provided these window treatments to a family in East Amherst NY to complete their great room renovations and compliment their large beautiful windows. The draperies and cornices were custom made using fabrics from the Inspired Drapes collection by Budget Blinds. The traversing pinch pleat draperies are a Gateway Grey Sky fabric and the Linear Cornices were made from a coordinating Rococo Grandeur fabric.
Custom Wood Shutters for Arch Window In Williamsville Condo
We installed these custom wood shutters in a recently updated condominium in Williamsville NY. This beautiful master bedroom window presented a challenge for the home owner because of the size of the window and the arch above it. Their goal was to maintain the architectural integrity and beauty of the window while achieving maximum light control. Custom shutters with an invisible tilt option and adjustable arch louvers turned out to be the perfect solution.

This valance and hobbled roman shade were made using fabric provided by our customer to match existing furniture. The combination of the two treatments looked stunning in the kitchen of this Amherst home.
Composite Shutters in Master Bedroom Bay Window
Composite shutters were installed in the entire second floor of this home in North Tonawanda NY. This picture is of the bay window in the master bedroom. The shutters made by Norman Window Fashions included an invisible tilt option that allows you to tilt the louvers without a tilt bar that would normally obstruct your view of the outside. In this example, we split the tilt to allow the bottom of the shutter to be closed for privacy while keeping the top open to allow maximum light.
Woven Wood Panel Track and Roman Shade in Buffalo Home
This woven wood panel track and matching roman shade were installed in the living room of this home in Buffalo NY. The panel track was a great option to cover a very long picture window and the same material was used to make a matching roman shade. The shades were made using all natural materials including wood, bamboo and reeds.
Commercial Roller/Solar Shades installed in New Medical Center
These commercial solar shades were installed in a medical center recently constructed in Niagara Falls NY. The shades were made using a 5% open gray solar shade fabric with a dark bronze aluminum fascia. The solar shade fabric allows you to maintain a view out of the building while eliminating most of the UV rays and the intense sunlight.
Vertical Fabric Blind with Wood Cornice
We recently installed this elegant vertical blind in a new patio home in Williamsville NY. It was made by Springs Window Fashions using a light filtering fabric vane. A real wood grand imperial cornice was mounted over the top to finish the look of the blind. It was a great choice for this large sliding glass door located below a transom window.

Roman shades are a great way to add the soft look of fabric with the functionality of a shade to any window. With a child safe cordless lift mechanism, this Hobbled Roman shade was made in a Canyon Brown fabric. It was the prefect window treatment for the bedroom of this Williamsville New York condominium.
Panel Track made with Roller Shade Fabric in Williamsville Townhouse
Window treatments for sliding glass doors can sometimes be a challenge. This Signature Series Panel Track made with a textured white roller shade fabric looked stunning in the dining room of this townhouse in Williamsville New York. This same material was used for two roller shades in an adjacent room. Panel Tracks can be ordered with 4 or 5 panels depending on the desired width of each panel and can draw right, left or have a split stack and draw from the middle.

We recently installed these child safe cordless cellular shades in the front bay window of this Wheatfield home. The shades were made from a very energy efficient double 3/8 inch cell material in a Smokey Grey color. They were the perfect match for the décor of the room.

We recently installed this Signature Series Vertical Cellular shade to cover a sliding glass door in the family room of this East Amherst home. The shade is made of a ¾ inch light filtering cellular material in a grey color called Galaxy Stepping Stone. The addition of a 5 ½ real wood grand cornice was the perfect finishing touch for this treatment. Vertical cellular shades are a great option for difficult to cover windows such as sliding glass doors.
Two in one cellular shades in Amherst home
The family room of this Amherst home was recently renovated as a result of water damage. The homeowners chose to replace the window treatments that spanned the length of the wall and included seven large windows. The product they chose was a 2 in 1 Signature Series Unison shade. They are top down bottom up cordless shades. The bottom half of the shade is a black out cellular shade material in a Brown Husk color, the top half is a 2” pleated sheer.

They were chosen to match existing shutters in another room and were the perfect finishing touch on the recently completed renovations. The louver size are 1 7/8 inch and the color is an off white called Linen White.

These real wood blinds were installed in the study of this Amherst home. The stain of the wood matched perfectly with the existing woodwork in the room. This particular model includes an invisible tilt option that allows you to open and close the louvers with any tilt bar. It is operated by hidden gears inside the sides of the shutter panels and provides a clearer view of the outside.

Real Wood Blinds installed in this East Amherst home
These real wood blinds provided a rich warm look in this East Amherst family room. We were able to install two blinds on one head rail to accommodate the 104 inch window width and provide continuity across the entire window. In addition, these include a cordless lift feature to better protect children and pets from dangerous lift cords. These blinds looked beautiful in the room.
