The owners of this Mission Hills home needed extra sun and glare protection on their west-facing enclosed porch. These exterior solar shades with metal fascia did the job and now they can comfortably enjoy this area of their home without being blinded by the sun.

These high windows needed an extra heat barrier. They provided a challenge because not only were they located high above a staircase, they were also not your typical rectangular window. We provided this Mission resident with light filtering angle-top cellular shades that would help keep out the heat.
This Builder in Olathe added plantation shutters to show off in the Parade of Homes. More features? These 3 1/2" louvered shutters have hidden tilt mechanism built in to the shutter panel for less obstruction in your view. Also, the tilt is split, so the bottom can remain closed for privacy, and the top opened so you can let in some natural light throughout the day.
Light-Filtering Cellular Shade
Privacy was key in this bathroom area, so the owners chose an economical and energy-friendly solution in 2 cordless cellular shades. While still allowing light to filter in to the room, these shades offer the privacy they were looking for and also provide some other energy-efficiency benefits that were too good to pass up.
2 1/2" Real Wood Blinds
In this Olathe dining room, the owners wanted nice 2 1/2" real wood blinds layered behind their existing curtains. Given their decor, they decided to continue this look throughout the rest of the main level of the house. The wide 2 1/2" slats give them a nice view through their large windows.
Do you have windows with tricky moulding or handles and hardware that limit your window covering options? This customer chose 2 inch wood blinds as a 2-on-1 headrail option mounted above their window frame. This allowed the blind to sit beautifully on the window, and provided extensive privacy and various light control options in the room.

Need to add some texture and elegance to your windows? In this Fairway home, we mounted pleated shades at the top of the wall, elongating the look of the windows, and added rich, wooden cornices to the top to finish the look.
Cordless Black-out Cellular Shade
This Leawood resident needed a black-out option for her children's bedrooms and didn't want cords in the way. Her other issue? A very wide window. We were able to provide her with a cordless black-out cellular shade that fit her situation perfectly!
Vertical Cellular Shade
Need privacy but can’t put a door? This customer went with a Vertical Cellular Shade as a creative solution for the bedroom entrance. Mounted right above the doorway this Cellular Shade can be drawn closed for privacy, or when opened the shade will stack neatly on one side. This solution met the customer’s needs, budget and offered a creative solution to a tricky problem.

This Prairie Village resident wanted to maintain the natural light that pours from this arched window, but also needed privacy for dressing. They decided on a Silhouette Shade that allows natural light to illuminate the room without covering up the window’s distinctive molding and shape
