Consumers Choice Award 2015
We are so excited to announce we were voted #1 for the 2015 Consumers Choice Award! Very proud to share this is our second year in a row to achieve the honour of winning this award!
SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!
Each year across Canada, Consumer Choice Award gathers the opinions, perceptions and expectations through the responses of thousands of consumers and businesses. Established in 1987, the selection process has been perfected with a third party research firm to ensure that only the most outstanding service providers are the winners within an industry. This is the only organization in North America to recognize business excellence by conducting a research that surveys both the consumer & business community with statistical accuracy. The research method determines all service providers, ultimately selects the top ranked companies, and establishes the winner within each industry.

"What can I say? I have the best job in the world! Not so long ago, a very close friend said "If you could choose any job in the world, what would it be?", and after a few seconds my reply was "I love what I'm doing right now....so I guess, working at Budget Blinds!"
#1 - I get invited into people's homes to help them beautify their personal space. And I get to leave with new friends - that is true. The best part of my job is that I have the opportunity to meet wonderful people and families everyday. The bonus is that they allow me to help them choose blinds, drapes and decor that will assist in turning their houses into homes.
#2 - I get to work with peers who love life, love having fun, and love helping out others. Every member of our team takes our customer's satisfaction very seriously. This makes coming to work everyday a treat.
I love adventure!
Would love to meet you all!

"Growing up and always being the new kid seemed so tough back then but looking back now I realize it gave me the skills to chat with anyone and make a friend anywhere!
Before going on my first Blind Date (ha!) I gained experience working with people while managing a restaurant. I have worked in a variety of retail stores and serving jobs and believe I am at my very best while helping people and making them smile! This is why Budget Blinds is my job-harmony, match-made-in-career-heaven! I get to spend time getting to know people while having fun decorating their homes! I have heard the sweetest love stories, screaming children, laughed, cried, been hugged, settled paint and carpet colour debates and helped moved furniture, all while making some new friends and oh ya! helping these same people pick window coverings along the way! All in a days work for this gal!
What you don't know I am a book addict- Chapters and Visa do not mix. Pinterest is my vice.
I would love to meet you!"
"I joined Budget Blinds desiring a new adventure. I am now working full time meeting new people and helping them dress up their windows. I talk a lot, sometimes too much (my coworkers are nodding in agreement). I love that every couple of hours I get to meet new people and drink a cup coffee while we visit and share stories...oh yeah and help them select window coverings :)
Nothing makes me happier then seeing my little family. We all love that time right before bed when we snuggle up as a family, usually to watch the first part of a Disney movie for the 76th time! We enjoy the time we spend with family and friends near and far. We just built our family home and are enjoying making it our own. My weakness is chips...and chocolate...and fresh bread...
I love my job because I love the people I work with, our business partners, and most of all the amazing customers."
