Roller Shades with Wood Cornices
The 7 1/2" wood cornices from Signature Series look amazing with the Sumarville roller shades. This makes a sure statement for a home in Penfield.
Solar Shades with Wood Valance
One way to dress up your shades is by adding wood valances! This homeowner in Webster wanted to add some dark, rich-looking wood to match her kitchen cabinets and table. With solar shades, you can see through the fabric while the sun stays out! This Mom wanted to be able to keep an eye on her kids playing in the backyard while not squinting in the sun and keeping the heat out of the house!
These wood blinds from Enlightened Style have a unique brushed wood finish called Maritime. I wish you could see them in person because they are gorgeous in this home in Webster!
Roller shades have come a long way! These Yuma fabric shades from Signature Series are beautiful, especially when light filters through. The homeowners in Gates are in love with this new addition!
More roman shades from Phase II. The homeowner in Webster was looking for something a little different from her beige shades. This color and print pops wonderfully in the living room, resulting as a big hit!
These roman shades from Phase II are beautiful for this home in Rochester!
Many people ask what they can put on their sliding doors that are not verticals. I have been selling a lot of solar and roller shades! You can operate two individually, and it's a great way to control the sun and light while your beloved pets can look through the bottom without damaging your window treatments!
Trilight cellular shade by Enlightened Style
These are one of my favorites, jazzing up top-down-bottom-up shades with an added sheer pleat on the top of the cellular. You can have the shade be all sheer, all cellular, or both!

Cordless 2" Wood Blind
Too bad the color is not at its best in this photo, but this is a Springs Signature Series 2" wood blind...cordless! These blinds were installed at a cottage on the lake in Webster. The wood adds to the charm of the cottage while providing privacy and light control when needed with a wand tilt control.
Here is a larger view of the woven woods in the Webster family room. Beautiful!
This Webster family wanted privacy in their rustic yet chic family room. The Enlightened Style woven woods were an excellent choice! They added a liner to control light. These shades are hand-woven, come in a wide variety of patterns and natural materials, and are one-of-a-kind!
This nice couple in Gates wanted some privacy in their dining room by adding a white shade to the existing shear drapes without hindering its elegance. They selected a Springs roller shade fabric that fit perfectly! Notice the pretty scalloped edging to add to its beauty! Love this!
Wow, this ceiling is super high, so we selected a Springs aluminum blind for this skylight window in Henrietta. Light is controlled by opening and closing the louvers with an extension pole. Goodbye unwanted hot sun!
Tri-light cellular shade
This teen living in Ogden loves his all-black shades! He wanted black out, but Mom still wanted light to filter in. The result is an Enlightened Style black out cellular shade with a black shear pleated shade on top! Cool!!
Hybrid Pleat Top Down Bottom Up
This Fairport kitchen got spruced up with Enlightened Style's Hybrid Pleat. We added the Top Down Bottom Up feature so that the sunshine can come in while maintaining privacy. Hybrid Pleat functions like a cellular shade, with a twist of bigger "pleats" from the front view.
Faux Wood 2"
This home office located in Gates has been created with a Univ of Michigan theme. Here is a 2" faux wood blind on the navy wall; there is a matching one on the gold wall! Go Wolverines!
2-on-1 Headrail Cellular
This sun room slider needed coverage, and the customer in Gates wanted something different! We selected blue Enlightened Style Latour semi-opaque cellular shades that have two separate controls. You can raise one side when walking through the door, and still keep the sun and UV rays from entering on the other side. A nice alternative to vertical blinds!
This customer in Webster wanted black out shades that would roll all the way up to admire the view of Lake Ontario during the day, but provide full privacy at night and morning. These Enlightened Style shades are a beautiful addition to the master bedroom.
Shari's sunroom, located in Gates, needed room darkening yet a solution that kept Rosie, her beloved dog, from destroying the window treatments. We installed vertical blinds to control light and allow Rosie to move the vanes with her nose while protecting the house! Shari selected Enlightened Style verticals in Tranquil Dusk. What a huge improvement from the tattered draperies!
Latour Prairie Opaque
All of Gerry's bedrooms in Churchville now display the simple yet pretty and functional Enlightened Style 3/4" Prairie cordless cellular shades, in the Heirloom color. These shades are shown with standard headrail (no surcharge). Cellular shades are the #1 window treatment style today because they control light, UV rays, and room temperature.
Enlightened Style Latour Prairie
This bathroom window in Churchville features the Enlightened Style Latour Prairie honeycomb shade in the top down, bottom up style. The honeycomb privacy can be kept lowered while allowing the sunshine to enter the bathroom at the top of the window, or the honeycomb portion can be lifted to the top of the window to keep the sun from shining through to control heat. Yet you can still look out to the beautiful view!
Black out cellular
In Churchville, all Jim cared about was a black out feature so he can sleep through the sunrise. We installed the Enlightened Style Latour Colonial Blackout honeycomb in Jim's bedroom. Not only can Jim sleep through the early morning sun, the honeycomb style will control heat and cold air through the windows.
