Andrea Newton has been the successful owner of Budget Blinds of Battle Creek & Coldwater since 2017. Andrea was born and raised in Indiana, the same state where she and her husband, Dave, raised their two children, Lena (19) and Blake (18). Previously employed in the healthcare industry for 23 years, Andrea plans to move with her husband and their eight-year old German Shepherd rescue, Spartacus, to their lake house in Michigan after Blake’s high school graduation, where they will fully engage in their Budget Blinds franchise. She arrives in Michigan armed with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, a Master’s Degree in Wellness Management, and a burning love for the music of Ed Sheeran in her heart. Her creative and artistic passions coupled with her ability to connect with clients on a personal level make Andrea Newton the perfect owner of Budget Blinds of Battle Creek & Coldwater!
Vanessa Alkhamis

Design Consultant

We would like to introduce Vanessa Alkhamis! She graduated from WMU in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She majored in Sales and Business Marketing. She recently decided to follow her passion and pursue an interior design degree this summer. Her love for design is what led her to Budget Blinds and is now our new Design Consultant! In her free time, Vanessa loves to hang out with her family and friends. She enjoys staying active through various sports & social leagues, and taking fitness classes. She also loves all things travel and has been to 8 different countries!

We are very excited to add Vanessa to our team as we know she will make a tremendous impact.
Devin Harris

Installation Technician

Budget Blinds of Battle Creek & Coldwater is proud to welcome our newest team member, Devin Harris. Devin is a 2020 graduate of Jay County High School in Portland, Indiana and relocated to our great state of Michigan to join our team and learn a new trade. His hobbies include recording music, caring for plants and communing with nature. We're excited to welcome Devin to both Michigan and Budget Blinds!

Your nephew was here today to install our kitchen blinds. He did a great job and was very polite. He even helped us with a minor problem we had with our wooden shades! Also, he came a little bit early & was done by 11:33 am! High marks!😊
