Window Treatments at Hemme Construction’s Model Home in Old Hawthorne
We recently had the opportunity to partner with Hemme Construction on their stunning model home in Old Hawthorne, and this project was such a fun one to bring to life. Every space in this home was thoughtfully designed, and our goal was to complement that vision with window treatments that felt just as elevated, functional, and intentional.
From soft, layered drapery to tailored shades and classic shutters, each selection was made to enhance both the beauty and livability of the home.
In the dining room, we installed custom curtains that add softness and sophistication to the space. The fabric was carefully selected to complement the home’s palette while still making a subtle statement.

Drapery is one of our favorite ways to elevate a space, and in this dining room, it truly completes the design.
For the primary closet, we went with custom plantation shutters—a timeless and practical solution. Closets often need a balance of privacy and light, and shutters offer both beautifully.

- Long-lasting and low maintenance
They’re functional, but they also feel high-end and cohesive with the rest of the home.
In the primary bedroom, we installed custom Roman shades to create a soft, tailored look. Roman shades are one of our go-to options for bedrooms because they strike the perfect balance between style and function.
These shades provide:

- Soft light filtering for a calming atmosphere
- Optional privacy and room darkening
The result is a space that feels cozy, refined, and perfectly finished.
