The Finishing Touch That Transforms Your Home

When it comes to creating a beautiful, comfortable, and personalized home, few design elements make as dramatic an impact as custom drapery. More than just fabric hanging by a window, custom draperies add warmth, sophistication, privacy, and style while showcasing your unique personality.

At Budget Blinds of West Green Bay, East Green Bay & Shawano, we help homeowners create stunning spaces with custom soft window treatments designed specifically for their homes. Whether you're looking for elegant formal draperies, cozy room-darkening panels, or stylish decorative accents, custom drapery offers benefits that ready-made curtains simply can't match.

Why Choose Custom Drapery?

Walk into any department store and you'll find plenty of curtain options. But ready-made products are designed to fit the average window, not your window. As a result, homeowners often end up compromising on fit, style, quality, or performance.

Custom drapery is made to your exact specifications. Every detail, from fabric selection and lining to length, fullness, and hardware, is tailored specifically to your space.

The result? A polished, professional appearance that elevates the entire room.

The Luxury Is in the Details

One of the biggest differences between custom and off-the-shelf drapery is the amount of fabric used. Our custom draperies are crafted with approximately 40% more fabric than many ready-made alternatives.

This added fullness creates rich folds and elegant movement that instantly make windows look more luxurious. Instead of appearing flat and sparse, custom draperies create depth, texture, and visual interest that enhances the entire room.

Whether you're designing a cozy bedroom, an inviting living room, or a dramatic dining space, fullness matters.

Superior Lining Options for Beauty and Performance

Many homeowners focus on fabric selection, but lining is just as important. Quality lining not only helps draperies hang properly but also improves insulation, protects fabrics, and enhances room comfort.

Our standard Chateau Sateen lining is a premium polyester and cotton blend made with recycled materials and offers several important benefits:

Stability that helps prevent stretching and shrinking

Moisture control that's ideal for kitchens and bathrooms

UV protection that helps preserve decorative fabrics

A clean, neutral appearance from the exterior of your home

For homeowners with specific needs, we also offer specialty lining options.

Exceptional Craftsmanship You Can See

When you invest in custom drapery, you're investing in expert workmanship.

Our soft fashions are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, including:

Weighted bottom hems for improved drape and appearance

Pattern matching at seams for a seamless, professional look

Properly sized hems based on product specifications

Double fabric inspections on back-lit tables for quality assurance

Color-matched thread for clean, virtually invisible stitching

These details may seem small, but together they create the polished, designer-quality finish that sets custom drapery apart.

Endless Style Possibilities

One of the greatest advantages of custom drapery is the ability to create a look that perfectly complements your home's décor.

Choose from styles such as:

Traditional pleated draperies

Modern grommet panels

Casual tab-top designs

Elegant puddled draperies

Decorative tie-back treatments

Functional stationary panels

Our custom draperies are also thoughtfully constructed with hidden seams placed behind pleats whenever possible, creating a clean and refined appearance.

Combined with UV-protective linings and thousands of fabric choices, the possibilities are virtually endless.

Complete the Look with Cornices and Valances

Custom drapery doesn't stop with side panels. Adding a custom cornice or valance can provide the perfect finishing touch for your window design.

Cornices

Custom cornices can be crafted in straight or contoured designs and feature fabric-wrapped returns for a tailored appearance. They also include blackout lining on the back for a neat, finished look from every angle.

Valances

Valances are available in countless styles. These decorative accents can soften a room, hide hardware, and add personality to any space.

Made in the USA with Fast Turnaround

Another advantage of choosing Budget Blinds custom soft fashions is the confidence that comes from American craftsmanship.

Our custom soft treatments are manufactured in West Lafayette, Indiana, providing the quality and attention to detail that comes with Made in the USA products while allowing for efficient order processing and fast turnaround times.
