Mike and Dina Burwell have called Colorado Springs home since 1985. In that time they have seen the Pikes Peak Region change and grow in exciting ways. They raised their children as Colorado Natives and recently became proud grandparents. Between Dina's extensive career in Early Childhood Education and Mike's business acumen in a range of enterprises from non-profits to both small and large businesses, they were well prepared for life as Budget Blinds owners. They quickly grew from a garage to a Top 20 performer in the Budget Blinds system of 1,500 locations. With a showroom off Garden of the Gods Road and an incredible staff that feels like family, they credit their growth to a commitment to consistent excellence in all they do for the community. This includes bringing the best in custom window treatments at the best price, as well as giving back in partnerships with organizations like CASA of the Pikes Peak Region and the Colorado Springs St. Jude Dream Home.

Although Annie was nice, the process of working with her was challenging. She does not seem fully educated on the products and had multiple mistakes in what she sent to me that caused us to go back and forth more than I would expect. She then wasn't responsive when I emailed asking for an update on my order. Finally, the installer showed up without calling first when I specifically confirmed with the scheduler that they would call.
