Owners
David is proud to be a local business owner because he gets the chance to solve your problems! He is very smart with technology and loves smart home upgrades, including window covering motorization (especially Lutron!). He is also the local drapery expert, having been trained in everything. He pays attention to every detail that matters, making every project one that turns into something amazing!
David and Maria own Budget Blinds of Cedar Falls & Waterloo, and their top priority is providing a 5-star customer experience. We are easy to reach and respond quickly.
When given the chance, David will jump on a wakeboard, go downhill skiing, or scuba dive! Maria plays several instruments, helps with the church worship team, and loves traveling. They both try to keep up with their four children.

Operations Manager
As the Operations Manager, Malynda helps keep the team organized, efficient, and focused on delivering the best possible experience for customers. She loves supporting the staff so they can do their best work, and one of her favorite parts of the job is hearing from customers about how the team has made a difference in their home or business.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, and their children. She can often be found reading a good book, going for walks with her dog, or playing games with her family.

Hi, my name is Amber Moffitt, and I am the Customer Experience Coordinator here at Budget Blinds! When you send in a request to set up a free consultation, I will walk you through the process of getting an appointment scheduled. I'm here to learn about your project and gather details about your window coverings needs so that our Design Consultant is well prepared for your appointment before they step through your front door.
I'm very grateful for the team we have here at Budget Blinds, and it is one of the best parts about my job. We all care about customer service, creating a smooth experience for each customer, and completing each project with excellence. We're excited to meet you and have you join our Budget Blinds family!
As for my time outside of work, I have lots of different passions! I love to spend time with my close family, friends, and church family as community means a lot to me. I also love to be outside and walk, play sports, ski (when I can get to the mountains), camp, horseback ride, etc.! Other hobbies include reading, thrifting, cooking, and weightlifting. So many things to enjoy!

Design Consultant
Brad is fantastic part of our team! He is happy to be your solution finder when it comes to your unique window covering needs. If you have no idea what you want, he is your expert.
He loves the design element of discussing options with you and will easily help narrow down your choices. He uses his expert knowledge of all the options and has an amazing eye for color to find the right option that will fit your style, design, and budget.
He knows our products very well, and you can trust Brad to help you. Customers are so pleased with his service they call and ask for him again and again!
Brad loves his wife Shelly, his bulldog Zeke, and is an avid bowler and camper.

Design Consultant
Joseph has a keen eye for detail and a passion for helping customers find the perfect window treatments to match their style and needs. He enjoys guiding clients through options that blend function and aesthetics, making the process easy and enjoyable.
Outside of work, he spends his time tending to his saltwater aquarium, playing board games, and perfecting his grilling techniques. He and his wife, Ellada, enjoy traveling, trying new foods, and keeping life interesting with plenty of laughter and adventures.

Reception and Scheduling Coordinator
Hello! My name is Sydney. In my time at the office, you’ll find me on the phone scheduling and answering questions, along with looking into orders and arrival dates. My favorite thing about being a part of the Budget Blinds family is seeing the before and after photos! Hearing how it makes life easier for the customer and how it pulls a room together, keeping comfort and style in mind!
In my personal time, I enjoy reading, crafting, and singing on my church’s worship team.

My favorite part about the job is getting to see all the unique houses and seeing our customers happy with the final product. I've got a good attention to detail and like to have a plan and order for the installs. Outside of work, I like sports and hanging with friends.

I like working at Budget Blinds because I actually get to see the difference my work makes. As an installer, I'm the one finishing the job and making sure everything fits, functions, and looks top-notch. I enjoy the challenge of figuring things out on site and leaving customers happy with their new blinds or shades. It's a good feeling driving away, knowing I made someone's home a little better. Plus, the team here feels like family; we joke around, help each other out, and take pride in doing things right. It's a combination of the hands-on work with a visible payoff alongside people I get to interact and learn from every day.

Calvin LaMarche is David and Maria’s 17-year-old son. He helps with installations during the summers and when he can through the school year. He is attentive and cheerful, paying attention to details. He enjoys making customers happy! He also loves to meet your pets.
Calvin likes football and learning about cars in his free time.
