When autumn arrives in the western suburbs, we gather around warm meals, cheer at Friday night games, and enjoy cozy evenings at home. But for many of our neighbors, those simple comforts can feel out of reach.
At Budget Blinds of Naperville, we believe home should be a place of comfort for everyone. That’s why this October, we’re inviting our community to stand alongside us in giving back. Together, we can bring warmth, food, and hope to families and individuals through West Suburban Community Pantry and DuPage PADS.
Three Simple, Meaningful Ways to Give
We know life is busy, so we’ve made it easy to join in:
- During Your Design Consultation – Hand your donation right to our design consultant.
- At Your Installation – Our friendly install team will gladly collect contributions.
- Showroom Drop-Off – Visit our showroom at your convenience and drop off items in the lobby donation box.
Every jar of peanut butter, every warm coat, every package of diapers will find its way to a neighbor who needs it.
What Our Neighbors Need Most
West Suburban Community Pantry
This organization removes barriers to food and nutrition security, serving as a bridge to resources that enable families to thrive.
Most Needed Items:
Dry pasta • Rice • Whole grains (oats, cereal, quinoa) • Peanut butter • Canned beans (pinto, baked, garbanzo) • Dry lentils • Canned low-sugar fruits & vegetables • Canned tuna or chicken
DuPage PADS
For those experiencing homelessness, DuPage PADS is a place of refuge and renewal.
Most Needed Items:
Diapers / Pull-Ups • Toiletries (full-size hair brushes, lotions, etc.) • Cleaning & kitchen supplies (detergents, sponges) • Paper products (Kleenex, paper plates, Ziplocs) • New clothing for men, women, and children • Gift cards for essentials (Walmart, Aldi, gas)
Why Your Gift Matters
Every donation, no matter how small, carries love and dignity. A box of cereal can ease a parent’s worry. A winter coat can help a child stay warm at the bus stop. A gift card can give someone a fresh start.
