Keep Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'
When you have panoramic views over Downtown St Petersburg, The Vinoy, Yacht Club and Beach Drive you want to enjoy them. This roller shade in a contemporary white fabric allows you to cut out sunlight and keep your privacy but when all you want to do is sit and watch the world go by, the shade rolls up in the cassette valance completely out of sight. It stays discreet whilst you gaze across the landscape. Perfect when you want to flood the room with natural light and wow guests with your picture perfect view. When you cozy in at night, simply roll it down to block off the world. Roller shades fit a number of windows and come in hundreds of patterns and textures.
Simple yet elegant
This honeycomb (or cellular) shade was the perfect solution to this window. Our customer wanted a shade that would provide privacy at night, control light in the day but not make the room too dark and also lift up so her puppy could still see out for the postman's legs! This shade is controlled using a corld loop for effortless lowering and raising. Thanks to their design, this type of window treatment is very discreet when all the way up, giving maximum view out and light in. They are also great for windows that get a lot of heat as their cells trap the heat, helping lower your A/C bills!
Just what the customer ordered
Our customer wanted to order a custom plantation shutter that was split into 4 panels but wanted this specifically so the top 2 could open on their own over the top of a table that had been ordered. After a few drawings and some careful measuring the install has been completed. We were all very happy with the result. There is so much flexibility with light and privacy control. They also feature 3 1/2" louvers with invisible tilt so all the louvers in each panel can be controlled together thanks to a very clever gearing mechanism built into the stiles.
See what we see
What makes working in Sunny St Petersburg Florida so amazing? Views like this speak for themselves, we are so lucky to be working in Downtown St Pete in this beautiful condo building with views down Beach Drive and across to the Vinoy! These 2 1/2" faux woods allow the view to be enjoyed but can also be tilt for light and privacy control. They are also a really cost effective way to cover your windows! Great for rental properties...
Awkward angles? That shouldn't be your problem!
One of the best things about custom window blinds are that we can measure and install them to fit your windows perfectly. These cellular shades have a small discrete head rail and stack when fully open which make them a good choice for bay windows. Don't worry if you don't know what type of product or treatment you want, that's exactly what we are here to do right in the comfort of your own home!
Anything is possible
Custom window treatments are exactly that, they can be customized to meet your own needs as well as the needs of the window, whatever the shape or size! We will be able to do something for you. This is a great example of a window with an arch on top. These room darkening honeycomb shades can be made into an arch and look great! Our customer also chose cordless lift so there are no strings which is great for child and pet safety! Honeycomb shades are also the best choice for heat and UV blocking.
Customize your window treatments to the last details
This shutter was just one in a full house that we did. Our customer wanted to cover their marble sill so opted for a designer sill cap upgrade. We also added our invisible tilt with a 50/50 split so that privacy can be controlled at the bottom whilst still allowing light and view out of the top. Shutters are a great way to add value and style to your home here in St Petersburg, Florida.
Custom Color Blinds
Here's one of our more unique installations of custom wood blinds that match the Benjamin Moore color used on the walls in this kitchen. Not only are these premium wood blinds light weight, great for heat and light control but they can be completely customized with your choice of color!
For customers that want full customization, we also offer custom color blinds and shutters. These real wood horizontal blinds were matched to Benjamin Moore paint that was used on the walls in the room. The results were better than our customer had imagined and were installed before she had moved into her new home at Caya Costa, St Petersburg Florida.
Complete control at your fingertips!
We offer motorization on a number of window treatments so you can operate them with the touch of a button. These roller shades were installed on floor to ceiling windows in a downtown St Petersburg condo. Our customer wanted to control all 4 of her shades individually for light control as well as raise or lower them all simultaneously with a remote control to reveal her panoramic views across The Burg.
This elegant window treatment allows visibility and light. They are made up of fabric veins that sit between a sheer fabric and can be tilted to control both sunlight entering the room and your view/privacy. Once fully closed the entire shade can roll up into the headrail like a conventional roller to give complete openness for cleaning and opening your windows or just to allow maximum light in.
Photo shows continuous cord loop control but can also be motorized for that extra bit of luxury.
Child safe faux woods
We are often asked for child friendly blinds and these faux woods are exactly that. They feature a child safe cord release device to prevent any unwanted accidents and entanglements for your little ones (including pets) and comply with all applicable regulations and safety standards. We also installed hold down brackets to keep the blinds secure when down so they don't sway in the wind and prevent pets or children climbing behind them. They are also lightweight to lift and feature 'smart privacy' so there are no string holes in the slats therefore helping to block maximum light when closed giving you a great value and very practical horizontal window treatment.
No one wants naked windows!
These rich, dark colored faux woods with textured cloth tapes have given this sunroom a completely different look! Our customer was blown away by the dramatic change in the room once we had completed the installation. Now they can control their light and heat better whilst still having the option to open them up whilst they watch their dogs running around the garden.
We have so many colors, patterns, textures and style of drapes and window treatments to choose from that we are sure there will be something for everyone to fall in love with! Our custom drapes are professionally measured and there are an endless amount of options to choose from including; hardware, pleat style, liners (including blackout), and more! Call us today to discuss your ideas.
This new build condo in Clearwater, Florida was in need of something to 'frame' this large patio window and tie in design of the entire living room so we suggested a fabric that had accents of teal and our customer simply fell in love! The floor to ceiling drapes finished of this room's decor and gave a cozy feeling. Smiles all round!
Cafe style shutters
Before and after installation images of some beautiful composite cafe shutters in St Petersburg Florida.
Feels like home
We simply LOVE this photo of these cafe composite shutters installed in a house in Historic Kenwood, St Petersburg. Our client's house was undergoing some remodeling and as much as they were very hands on with many of their projects, they knew it was best to call us for their shutters. After our complimentary in home consultation, we discussed budget, styles and options for their new shutters and decided on options like 'invisible tilt' which means no tilt rod so maximum view through the shutters. The finished install looked great!
A Beautiful Illusion
It makes our job very easy when we get to work with a client that knows exactly what style of window treatment they want! This newly purchased home on the Venetian Isles was in need of some privacy, light control and style in the master bedroom whilst still allowing them to keep their view over the water. We looked at the design and decor of the room and picked out a number of material samples to compliment the room. Once installed, our client couldn't have been happier with their new shades. There are two layers of striped material that cross over each other as they travel in the window to either block out the light or allow a partial view through the gaps between each stripe.
A room with a view
One of the great advantages of working in windows every day is that we get to share some of the spectucular views our clients have! This apartment condo in the Vinoy residence has beautiful views across Downtown St Peteresburg, capturing the Yachts in the marina and further across the Bay.
The old woven wood shades were removed along with the top treatments to open up the room and replaced with large panel wood shutters with invisible tilt.

A touch of class!
After moving to sunny Florida from New Jersey, our customers wanted to capture some of the same style they had previously. They wanted to remove the old faux woods that were in the windows when they moved into their home on Snell Isle and replace them with something that gave them the look they wanted. Our beautiful window shadings act like a roller and faux wood in one! They roll down and then when they reach the bottom, the fabric louvers inside open up to give you your view through the shear fabric much like a faux wood does. They are really light weight and add a very sophisticated look to any room.
Sun room spectacular
We visited a beautiful 1950's style house in Historic Kenwood to quote for cafe style shutters in this large sunroom/office. Our client had seen them in our design guide and instantly fell in love. They compliment their moulding and sash windows brilliantly whilst blocking the view through the lower half of their windows from the street. This style of shutter allows you to maintain much of your light and view but help control it in the lower portion below head height.
"I'm in Miami Beach"
Bringing the Miami feel to St Petersburg... This is a fantastic transformation of this customer's sunroom. His aim was to allow his view through some sort of blind, yet keeping it simple, clean and cost effective. Key concerns for him were privacy when he is out of town and also controlling the light throughout the day. Upon completion he said it feels more like he his back home in Miami and has added a cosy and completed look to the room.
Top down bottom up!
Here we have one of our popular products, the honeycomb cellular shade in chocolate featuring top down bottom up with cordless control. Our customer has recently moved from California to St Petersburg Florida and wanted to feel less like she was living in a fish bowl and more like it was her home! This choice of shade allows her to block out the sun and pick her privacy level. They can be raised and lowered in the conventional style, lower from the top to allow light and privacy to the lower portion of the window or simply moved to a position of your choice! Available in translucent, semi opaque and room darkening (close to blackout).
Stop the sun but don't lose your view
A very common problem here in Florida is that the sun can get quite hot. Imagine this, you have a beautiful view out of your window which you don't want to cover up yet your air conditioning bills are sky high because the sun shines through your window and heats up your room (and can even damage artwork and furniture). We have the solution! We offer a range of solar roller shades that control UV rays therefore protecting your possessions, keep the heat out and still allow you to see out. Our materials come in a selection of percentage openness which allow you to see out more/less and in return control more/less UV protection.
When Duct tape isn't the solution, try cloth tapes!
Faux woods give a very clean and elegant look on their own but choose one of our unique colors and add on cloth tapes and you can take them to a whole new level! The results speak for themselves - creamy off white slats are brought to life with the dark grey tapes. Three individually controlled blinds on one single header rail allowed us to span the width of this large living room window.
Get that 'shutter' look for less
We visit so many beautifully decorated new homes for customers with great interior design taste and this one was no exception. We wanted to compliment the modern decor within the home and also give them something that gave the look of shutters without the price tag. We were delighted with the installation of this 3 on 1 faux wood in an off white/cream color and complimentary dark grey cloth tapes which brought their window treatment in line with the rest of the room. They look great from the outside!
Elegant solution for a patio slider
We always get calls from customers asking for a window treatment solution for their sliding patio doors. To their surprise there are a number of options that we offer. This simply yet stylish door covering is our Sliding panels. 3 fabric panels in a contemporary white material are practical, simple and yet very effective for large patio doors. They give all the privacy you need and protect from the Florida sun when it gets a bit too hot out there!
Make your neighbors jealous
This customer was referred to us by a previous client. He recently moved into a remodeled home and wanted to complete his New York apartment style interior design with a classy and cost effective product. Our faux wood blinds were the perfect solution for this. We replaced his temporary paper shades with them and the results were exactly what he wanted. An added benefit that he didn't think about is how they improved the outside 'curb appeal' of his new home.
Vertical Blinds for a new home in downtown
This large patio door leads onto the master bedroom balcony and our customer wanted a practical solution that met his budget. He had just moved in to this new build condo in downtown St Pete and had a very good idea of the color he wanted and required a product that provides light control. We were able to achieve this with our Signature Series Vertical Vinyl Blinds in a slate blue colored louver. The entire process was very quick and this simple yet elegant choice complimented his decor very well. The blind stacked to the left to allow complete use of the door and maximum light when required.
Large window solution
Our customer Greg called us to fit out his new home in St Petersburg with faux woods. He was worried about this window due to it's size but we were able to accommodate his request by installing a 3-on-1 blind which allows 3 separate blinds to sit on one headrail but line up with the window's frames to give a uniform look both inside and outside. We also offered our 'routeless' option which means there are no 'string holes' in the slats.
Our customer opted for an upgrade to a fabric wrapped cassette on these roller shades in the bedroom. They look great on the doors!
One of our fabric valance options is the square corner valance which uses the same fabric as the shade to help give this window treatment a simply elegant and stylish look.
This window treatment finishes off the customer's home decor perfectly. The shades compliment the windows and still allow the panoramic views over downtown St Petersburg to be enjoyed
Faux Woods in the kitchen
After months of remodeling, this customer called us to finish off his new home close to downtown St Petersburg. Faux woods were a cost effective alternative to shutters and gave a similar look from outside the home. The finished window treatments give each room a cozy and stylish look and compliment their country cottage interior design style.
