He began his career by handing out coupons for the previous owner, then built his knowledge from the ground up through installation, sales, and management. In 2012, Jake purchased the business and has since expanded it by acquiring two additional territories.

Jake’s philosophy is simple: treat others the way you would want to be treated. He strives to run the business with that principle at its core, filtering every decision through the lens of what is best and fairest for both clients and employees.

A resident of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee, Jake has been married to Sharon Williams for 20 years and is the proud father of three daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, volunteering at his local church, and—most of all—spending time with his family.

Travvis Kief is the Operations Team Leader at Budget Blinds, bringing 19 years of window-covering industry experience—all with Budget Blinds. He began as an installer and advanced through sales and operations, gaining hands-on insight into every stage of a customer’s project.

Travvis enjoys helping clients find the right solutions for their homes and seeing each project come together from consultation through installation. His approach centers on clear communication, attention to detail, and putting customers first, with recommendations tailored to their needs, style, and budget.

Proud to serve Crossville, Cookeville, and surrounding Middle Tennessee communities, Travvis is especially grateful for the long-term relationships he has built with customers, builders, and neighbors. Outside of work, he enjoys time with family, golfing, and the outdoors. Colt Lewis is a Team Lead at Budget Blinds with 10 years of experience in the window-covering industry—all with the Budget Blinds team. He began his career as an installer after being recommended for the role through a temporary staffing service, and has since grown into a leadership position through dedication, learning, and a genuine commitment to helping others.

Colt enjoys guiding customers toward solutions that fit their homes and supporting the team members around him. He approaches every client relationship as he would with family: listening closely, offering thoughtful recommendations, and making sure each customer feels cared for from start to finish.

Proud to call Cumberland County home, Colt values being connected to the local community and his church. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and exploring the area.

Omar Mejias is a Sales/Installer at Budget Blinds with six years of experience in the window-covering industry. He began through hands-on installation work and quickly discovered a passion for helping homeowners enhance their spaces with quality window treatments.

Omar enjoys helping customers make their homes more comfortable, functional, and beautiful with the right shades and window coverings. One of my favorite parts of my job is helping customers find the right solutions for their homes while providing friendly, dependable service.

I’ve been married for 40 years and am blessed with four daughters and five wonderful grandchildren who call me “Mimi.” Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering on my daughters and grandchildren at their sporting events, hiking, kayaking, and volunteering at my church.
