Budget Blinds of East Greenbush is seeking a motivated and skilled Window Treatment Installer to join our team. As a Window Treatment Installer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers’ satisfaction by providing professional installation services for our window treatments. This position offers part-time hours with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Install various types of window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and draperies, according to established guidelines and customer preferences.

• Ensure accurate measurements and proper installation techniques to deliver high-quality results.

• Safely and confidently work at heights over 10 feet using ladders and other necessary equipment.

• Collaborate with customers to address any concerns or questions during the installation process, maintaining a friendly and customer-focused demeanor.

• Maintain a professional appearance and represent Budget Blinds of East Greenbush in a positive manner while interacting with customers.

• Handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment necessary for installations, ensuring their proper care and maintenance.

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to protect both yourself and customers’ property during installations.

• Communicate effectively with the team, providing updates on progress and any challenges encountered during installations.

• Maintain accurate records of completed installations, including any necessary paperwork and customer feedback.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in window treatment installation or a related field is preferred but not required.

• Comfortable working at heights over 10 feet and using ladders.

• Possess reliable transportation to travel to customer locations throughout the designated area.

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise measurements and installation instructions.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

• Physical ability to lift, carry, and manipulate window treatments and installation equipment.

• Flexible schedule with availability to work part-time hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
