Why Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities

Emmett Brost is the owner and a Design Consultant at Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities. His experience with Budget Blinds began in 2014, when he and his wife, Jana, owned and operated Budget Blinds territories in Puyallup and Tacoma, Washington. After more than eight years serving homeowners there, Emmett and his family moved to East Tennessee and opened Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities in January 2023.

With a degree in Fine Arts from Western Washington University, Emmett brings an eye for design, attention to detail and more than a decade of window treatment experience to every consultation. He works directly with homeowners to understand how they use their spaces, select custom blinds, shades, shutters, drapery and motorized window treatments, and ensure each project is professionally measured for a custom fit. While Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities has a dedicated installation team, don't be surprised to see Emmett on an installation when an extra set of hands or his specific expertise is needed.

At the end of the day, Emmett wants every client to know that there is a local owner standing behind their project. If something doesn't go as planned, he'll be there to help find a solution and see the project through.

Emmett and Jana are proud to call East Tennessee home and raise their four children here. Outside of work, Emmett enjoys sports, exercise, biking, gardening and spending time with his family. His approach to serving clients reflects the mission of Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities: to bring joy by hearing story and sharing story to enhance the feeling of home.

Jana Brost is Co-Owner of Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities and manages the bookkeeping and many of the behind-the-scenes responsibilities that help keep the business running smoothly. Her experience with Budget Blinds began in 2014, when she and her husband, Emmett, owned and operated Budget Blinds territories in Puyallup and Tacoma, Washington. After more than eight years serving homeowners there, Jana and her family moved to East Tennessee and opened Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities in January 2023.

With undergraduate and graduate studies at Western Washington University, Jana brings more than a decade of business experience, organization and attention to detail to the Tri-Cities team. While clients may not always meet her during their in-home consultations, her work behind the scenes supports the team and helps keep the business operating efficiently.

Jana loves being part of the Tri-Cities community and hearing the stories of the families our team serves. She and Emmett are raising their four children in East Tennessee and enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, reading, walking and exploring the region together. Jana shares the mission of Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities: to bring joy by hearing story and sharing story to enhance the feeling of home.

Jordis Allen serves as Office Manager for Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities and brings five years of customer service experience to the team. With one year of experience at Budget Blinds, Jordis helps coordinate the client experience from the initial call and in-home design consultation through scheduling and installation.

Whether answering questions, coordinating appointments or supporting our design and installation teams, Jordis helps keep projects moving and communication clear for our clients. She enjoys helping make the process of purchasing custom window treatments easy and welcoming.

Jordis is also currently pursuing her college education at East Tennessee State University.

Joey Roderick serves as a Design Consultant with Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities and brings five years of Budget Blinds experience to the team. Joey works directly with homeowners during complimentary in-home design consultations, helping them select custom blinds, shades, shutters, drapery and other window treatments that fit the style, function and needs of their homes.

From selecting colors, fabrics and materials to considering privacy, light control and everyday convenience, Joey helps clients find the right solution for each space. He also professionally measures each project to help ensure the custom window treatments are properly specified and ready for our installation team.

Joey enjoys helping homeowners turn their ideas into finished spaces that enhance the feeling of home.

Tyler Odens serves as Installation Manager for Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities and brings three years of window treatment installation experience to the team. An Army veteran, Tyler brings attention to detail, professionalism and a commitment to doing the job right to every installation.

As Installation Manager, Tyler is responsible for helping turn the designs and measurements created during the consultation process into the finished product in our clients’ homes. He professionally installs custom blinds, shades, shutters, drapery and motorized window treatments, with careful attention to fit, function and finish.

Tyler takes pride in making sure each installation is completed properly and that our clients can enjoy their new window treatments for years to come.
