Why Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities

Emmett Brost is the owner and a Design Consultant at Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities. His experience with Budget Blinds began in 2014, when he and his wife, Jana, owned and operated Budget Blinds territories in Puyallup and Tacoma, Washington. After more than eight years serving homeowners there, Emmett and his family moved to East Tennessee and opened Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities in January 2023.

With a degree in Fine Arts from Western Washington University, Emmett brings an eye for design, attention to detail and more than a decade of window treatment experience to every consultation. He enjoys getting to know his clients, understanding how they live in their homes and helping them find custom window treatments that combine style, function and comfort.

Emmett and Jana are proud to call East Tennessee home and raise their four children here. Outside of work, Emmett enjoys sports, exercise, biking, gardening and spending time with his family. His approach to serving clients reflects the mission of Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities: to bring joy by hearing story and sharing story to enhance the feeling of home.

Jana Brost is an owner of Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities and plays an important role behind the scenes in the day-to-day operations of the business. Her experience with Budget Blinds began in 2014, when she and her husband, Emmett, owned and operated Budget Blinds territories in Puyallup and Tacoma, Washington. After more than eight years serving homeowners there, Jana and her family moved to East Tennessee and opened Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities in January 2023.

With undergraduate and graduate studies at Western Washington University, Jana brings more than a decade of business experience, organization and attention to detail to the Tri-Cities team. While clients may not always meet her during their in-home consultations, her work behind the scenes helps support the team and the experience we provide from the initial consultation through installation.

Jana loves being part of the Tri-Cities community and hearing the stories of the families our team serves. She and Emmett are raising their four children in East Tennessee and enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, reading, walking and exploring the region together. Jana shares the mission of Budget Blinds of Tri-Cities: to bring joy by hearing story and sharing story to enhance the feeling of home.
