Custom Blinds & Shades in Kewaunee County
Custom Blinds & Shades in Kewaunee County
Kewaunee County homes come in two kinds of weather. Along the shore in Algoma and Kewaunee, the wind comes in off Lake Michigan. Out toward Luxemburg and Casco, it crosses open farmland with little to slow it down. Either way, your windows take the brunt of a Wisconsin winter.
Budget Blinds of Lakeshore is your local window treatment team, based just up the road in Sturgeon Bay. We design, measure and install custom blinds, shades, shutters and drapery for homes and businesses across Kewaunee County. There's no store to drive to, because we bring the samples to you.

If you live anywhere near these communities, give us a call. We're happy to come out to farmhouses and lake homes alike.
What Works Best in Kewaunee County Homes
A lakeshore cottage and a century-old farmhouse need different things from their windows. These are the three options we recommend most often here.
Cellular shades for winter heating costs. Cellular shades have a honeycomb design that traps air against the glass. That extra layer helps hold heat in the room on cold nights, which is why they're our first suggestion for drafty older windows.
Faux wood blinds for kitchens and baths. Faux wood blinds give you the warm look of real wood, and they stand up to steam and moisture. They're also easy to wipe down, which helps in a busy farmhouse kitchen or mudroom.
Cordless options for families. With cordless blinds and shades, you lift or lower the shade by hand, with no cords hanging at the window. Parents and grandparents like the safer, cleaner look, especially in kids' rooms.
We also offer custom shutters and drapery, which are a natural fit for older homes with tall windows or original trim. Older windows are often slightly out of square, so we measure each one ourselves before anything is ordered.
