Why Budget Blinds of Williamsburg

Rachelle has 25 years of experience in the window covering industry, but she affectionately refers to the last 12 years as a Budget Blinds franchise owner as her “blind journey.” Becoming a Budget Blinds franchisee led her to everything she loves most—meeting people and hearing their stories, designing beautiful spaces, and embracing the challenges and problem-solving that come with every project.

What began as a single territory in Williamsburg has grown into nine territories, now serving customers from Williamsburg to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Along the way, adding business partner Kevin Welsh proved to be instrumental in the company’s growth and success. Looking back, Rachelle still finds herself asking, “How did I get here?”

And for all of it, I am deeply grateful.”

I am a proud husband, father, business owner, and avid adventurer. Since jumping into Entrepreneurship in 2017, I’ve enjoyed the chance to develop a company full of leaders and grow our brand to cover the entire Southeast Virginia Region and Northeastern North Carolina. Our service area starts in Williamsburg, VA and stretches all the way to the Outer Banks, NC which allows us to make an impact in many different communities. Each year I also look forward to seeing what our Community Impact Challenge has in store as we love giving back to those who make a difference.

I have been with Budget Blinds for 4 years now and absolutely love it here! I started in Operations, then moved to Marketing, giving me a well rounded scope of all things Budget Blinds and our entire customer journey. I love how involved in our community we are, I love the people I work with, and I love our customers!
Outside of work, I enjoy attending music festivals, farmer's markets, hiking or beach days!

Serving as Director of Operations at Budget Blinds has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career. I play a large role in many aspects of the company, and I take pride in being a steady resource for our customers and for my colleagues alike. Working with the Budget Blinds team to bring one-of-a-kind solutions to our customers keeps me on my toes. What keeps me energized is knowing that beyond the product, we're part of something bigger: a company that shows up for its community. No two days look the same, and I'm still learning something new with every project.

Family is the center of my world. I cherish spending quality time with my children and grandkids, creating memories that last a lifetime. I love traveling and exploring new places, especially cruising and enjoying the adventures that come with it.
I have a caring and compassionate heart, and I'm always willing to help those I love. While I may come across as tough on the outside, those who know me best understand that I'm kind, loyal, and deeply devoted to my family and friends.
I believe in enjoying life, making meaningful connections, and embracing every opportunity to create special moments with the people who matter most.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I earned my degree in Business Management before making Virginia home. I currently serve as the Sales Manager for Budget Blinds of Williamsburg & Chesapeake, where I enjoy combining sales, leadership, and operations to help both employees and customers succeed. I'm passionate about solving problems and improving processes. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, Matt, and our daughter, Ava, who keeps life fun and busy.

Stuart, a design consultant with Budget Blinds of Williamsburg, is a true Williamsburg native, having grown up and spent his formative years immersed in the rich history and vibrant spirit of the city's historic district. 

His upbringing was marked by active participation in the community, including his involvement in the golf team and his dedication to achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. After completing his education and serving in the Marine Corps, Stuart was drawn back to his hometown, where he met his wife, who now runs a successful local boutique. 

For over five years, Stuart has been an integral part of the Budget Blinds team, bringing his unwavering commitment to customer service and his deep understanding of the local community to every interaction. His dedication to exceeding client expectations is just one of his many strengths. As a seasoned consultant, he invests substantial time with each client, ensuring that they discover window coverings that resonate with their personal style and they truly adore. In Lisa's words, "I am a mother, grandmother, chicken and dog lover. I enjoy everything in nature and being outdoors. The best part of my job is that I love people and enjoy helping them solve their window-covering problems. I also enjoy seeing my client's homes because every home is different and each one reflects the style and personality of their owners."

I have worked for Budget Blinds for well over a decade. I live locally with my wife Jen, our three beautiful and rambunctious children, two adorable dogs, and six chickens who lay more eggs than our family can keep up with. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and tackling DIY projects around the house.

I'm from New Orleans—Go Saints!—and a passionate fan of all sports, from basketball to football to boxing. I'm married and cherish spending my free time with my wife and three children. What I enjoy most about being an installer is the satisfaction of delivering great service to my customers. It truly makes me feel good to see them happy.

In my spare time, I love playing video games and watching movies with my family. I'm a proud parent to five children - three of my own and two bonus kids. As an installer, I enjoy the opportunity to meet new people and discover their unique personalities. This aspect of my work always keeps it interesting and rewarding.
